POSTGRADUATE RESEARCH
Welcome to the School of Physics at University of NSW. We offer a range of research projects for qualified students who wish to undertake postgraduate research leading to the Doctor of Philosophy (PhD), Masters by Research (MSc) or a Masters of Philosophy (MPhil) degree. These research degrees involve the student independently researching a specific topic under the guidance of a supervisor. We have a large number of students from Australia and overseas enrolled in postgraduate research working on projects offered by all the departments of the School. Students interested in research projects in the School of Physics should make contact with a prospective supervisor before lodging an application.
